Skiing

Megeve is idyllic with some of the best skiing in the Alps and some great off-piste skiing opportunities, the resort caters for all skiing levels from beginner to expert. Megeve is split into three main skiing areas, Mont d’Arbois, Rochebrune and Jaillet with links to Combloux, Giettaz, Saint-Gervais and Saint Nicolas de VĂ©roce, 445km piste in total, mostly beautiful tree lined slopes with picturesque views, the wide sweeping runs through the trees are perfect in bad weather conditions as the runs are sheltered, in higher resorts you are often skiing in total whiteout conditions.

For families with younger children or beginner skiers, Megeve has plenty of wide, gentle nursery slopes, outside of peak times the runs are quiet which makes learning easier and a lot more fun. Jaillet has some fantastic long cruisy blue and red runs which are great for Intermediate skiers and more experienced skiers will not be disappointed with the challenging off piste runs at Cote 2000 or Mont Joly.

The Megeve Evasion Mont Blanc ski pass offers an amazing 445km piste, the highest point is Mont Joly at 2350 metres. If you are worried about snow cover there’s no need to be, Megeve has over 650 snow cannons.
